The 2^nd Annual Hip Hop Classic 5K Walk/Run will benefit the Union Rescue Mission of Downtown Los Angeles. As one of the  largest missions of its kind in America, the Union Rescue Mission  brings help and hope to homeless and  desperately poor men, women, and children of downtown Los Angeles. URM’s efforts feed both the body and the soul, helping individuals and families break the cycle of poverty and achieve self-sufficiency.

The Hip Hop Classic is a high energy 5K Walk/Run that celebrates  Hip Hop music and active living. The race bridges Hip Hop music and culture with endurance racing and family fun.
 
The goal of the Hip Hop Classic is to empower and inspire Hip Hop fans of all ages, abilities, shapes and sizes to use their love of Hip Hop to embrace an active and healthy lifestyle.
